Glutamic acid decarboxylase autoantibody ELISA kit ELISA
The GADAB-ELISA kit is an accurate enzymatic assay used to measure GAD-Ab 65 in human serum to differentiate for type I diabetes mellitus.
Use as serological markers of type 1 diabetes mellitus (insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus - IDDM)
- ACCURATE AND RELIABLE ENZYMATIC ASSAY
GAD65 molecules are coated onto the ELISA plate wells. GAD65-biotin complexes constitute the liquid phase. GAD-Ab from the samples bind to the GAD65immobilized onto the well and interact with GAD65-biotin via a GAD-Ab bridge. Addition of streptavidin peroxidase detects the bound GAD65-biotin. The unbound streptavidin peroxidase in excess is washed off before the addition of the peroxidase substrate TMB.
